Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) isn’t just a cause for us at Scribbles & Supply—it’s deeply personal. Jemma, our founder, draws endless inspiration from her mom, who lost her battle to MBC in 2017. Jemma’s love for crafting started with fond memories of watching her mom scrapbook, pouring creativity and care into each project. Her mother’s legacy lives on through each creation, reminding us of the strength, creativity, and resilience that embodies those battling MBC.

 

MBC is a unique and often overlooked part of the breast cancer community. With only 2%-5% of breast cancer research funding going toward MBC, there’s an urgent need for more targeted research to better understand and treat this advanced stage. Unlike early-stage breast cancer, MBC is incurable and requires ongoing support and treatment.
